Click the link below and “Save to Disk”.
Double click the Volusion Live Chat icon that appears on your computer’s desktop. Simply follow the installation instructions that follow to complete the download process.
Once the software is installed, you will be prompted to create a Volusion Live Chat Account. Create the account by filling in all required fields and clicking the Submit button when done.
Once an account is created, you will be asked to check your e-mail for an “email verification code”. Once you’ve retrieved your code, place it into the Volusion Live Chat application to finish setting up your account.
(E-mail Troubleshooting: The verification code will be sent to the e-mail address used in Step Three. The e-mail’s subject is “verify your email” from the sender “sales@volusion.com”. It will take about five minutes for the e-mail to reach your mailbox. Please remember to check your e-mail’s Junk Mail folder if you do not receive the e-mail within that time frame. If you still do not receive your code, please follow the instructions located on the screen to either resend or to use an alternate e-mail address.)
Once you have entered your e-mail verification code into the appropriate field, your chat window will open. Included in the window are the tabs: Getting Started Guide (how you’d like your name to appear as chat operator, code to place on your site ), Custom Design (custom messages and pictures to display when on or offline, uploading company logo) and Go Chat. Click "Go Chat" to begin connecting with your customers to answer their questions and increase your sales!
